If you’re planning to hit the Alcantara Power Plant on the Dam map, you’d better know what you’re walking into. This place isn’t just some loot spot – it’s a full-on war zone. The main building is huge, stacked with multiple floors, tight corridors, and open kill zones. The rewards are worth it – rare weapon parts, high-end mods, and other valuable ARC Raiders Items – but you’ll be fighting tooth and nail for them. Charging straight across the top of the dam is a rookie mistake; snipers love picking off anyone who tries. Instead, take the lower spillway paths or the tunnel routes. They’re cramped, yeah, but you’ll have cover from anyone watching from the hills.



Once you’re inside, you’ll realise quickly that sound travels everywhere. Footsteps echo off the metal walkways, and it’s easy to give away your position without meaning to. The Turbine Hall is the worst of it – wide open, with multiple levels and plenty of angles for someone to drop you from above. If you’re not holding the upper catwalks, you’re already at a disadvantage. Keep at least one teammate watching those platforms while the rest of you move through the lower areas.



The Control Room is where the real treasure usually sits. It overlooks the turbines, but it’s a dangerous place to hold – you’re visible from almost every angle. Breaching it works best with a split approach: one team engaging from the main floor while another sneaks through the maintenance corridors. Just know that ARC patrols guard this area heavily. These aren’t weak enemies; they’re well-armoured and aggressive. If you’re going for the good loot, expect to fight them head-on.



Getting the loot is only half the job. Leaving with it is where most squads fail. The extraction points near the plant are notorious ambush spots. Everyone knows if you’re coming from Alcantara, you’re loaded. Don’t rush to the closest exit – that’s exactly what campers expect. Clear the plant, then pull back to somewhere you can watch the exits for a bit. Spot any movement before you commit. When you go, pop smoke for cover and have one player watching your six.
