Loyalty could mean life or death. Through raids, reprisals, and shifting allegiances, communities were torn apart. The film highlights often-overlooked perspectives, including African American, Native American, and Loyalist fighters. It explores key moments such as the Battle of Monmouth, Colonel Tye’s Black Brigade, and secret smuggling networks that sustained the war. More than distant history, it presents the Revolution as a deeply personal and violent conflict fought at home—its impact still echoing today. ?
